Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. The actress was noticed by a talent agent who recognized her potential and persuaded her to choose an occupation in the entertainment field. At the end of the day, after much thought and consideration she decided to drop out of the university to pursue a career in the industry of entertainment. Her first appearance was in the movie Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, and she wasn't happy about how it came out. Her acting skills were developed through her appearance in low budget movies. The path of the actor wasn't easy, but his sheer patience and willpower were rewarded. After her success in Training Day, her career in acting took off.
